Today I wanted to share with you this gorgeous exclusive new collection that has got me weak at the knees. On 14th April 2014 Fortnum & Mason will exclusively launch Richard Brendon meets PATTERNITY in their signature colour - Eau de Nil. The collection will be the centrepiece of an exhibition showcasing a broad selection of Richard Brendon’s work, all of which will be on sale.

Richard Brendon joined forces with world leading pattern innovators, PATTERNITY, to help realise his dream of rejuvenating and repositioning the British bone china industry. The collaboration draws inspiration from over two centuries of British tea drinking history. Bringing together Richard’s expertise in ceramic design and heritage with PATTERNITY’S award winning pattern exploration and innovation. The collection warps perceptions of what bone china can look like.

Striking and beautiful, wouldn't you agree?

Richard Brendon and PATTERNITY will be at the exhibition, from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 19th April, taking questions and talking to visitors about their design practices.

For those that know me there is no hiding my enthusiasm for Kirath Ghundoo's work. I was excited to see her new collection, the India 14 Wallpaper launched at Maison & Objet at the beginning of this year.

The collection introduces two new patterns, Taj and Pink City. Inspiration for the new range comes from her recent travel to India where she took in the sights of the Taj Mahal and Jaipur, in which she fell in love with the bright colours and soft curvaceous lines of the Architecture. The colours of the collection play with a striking rich traditional Indian red offset with muted pastel hues.

Kirath goes on to say ' being Indian, it was great to finally visit the country, and I am proud to be able to bring elements of my heritage and culture to my work.

Designed digitally and printed in England on 170gsm non woven wallpaper, measuring 52cm by 10m, Taj and Pink City retail at £140 per roll.

Bloomingville's New Autumn/WInter 13 Catalogue

Have you seen Bloomingville's New Autumn/Winter 13 catalogue? I know I shouldn't even mention the word Winter as we are finally enjoying some sun but it really is a pretty sight. Lots of lovely colours that it looks anything but wintery. I have always been a fan of their products and this catalogue makes me pretty much want to buy nearly everything. A dangerous time as I am in the process of redecorating.

Enjoy the sunny weekend friends and hooray for some sun, finally!
